Selling a 1978 Ford Thunderbird Diamond Jubilee Edition. Runs and drives well. New rear brakes, new front brakes, new front rotors, new wheel bearings, tires are barely used. New master cylinder, new power steering gear. New plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor. New vacuum hoses and radiator hoses all around. Current VA state inspection until November. A/C and heat have been removed (many parts were retained and will be included). No radio currently installed. Brand new dual glasspacks. New battery. The car has a lot of miles but would make a good project for restoration as it is a fairly rare version. Exterior is in very good condition for age - interior needs work. Carpet has been removed - floor pans are excellent. Rear seats have sun damage along the top. Power door locks are current inop as the lock motors in the doors are worn out. Passenger side power window motor went bad and has been removed but not yet replaced. I bought it with the intent of restoring it fully, but just don't have the resources currently to do it justice and would like to see it go to someone who does. This is a rare car in great shape overall and it deserves a good home. I will include all the extra parts I have collected (interior panels, extra dash pieces, etc). I drive the car several days a week, so it has not been sitting. Mechanically it has been reliable and I would not hesitate to drive it on a long trip, although in the summer with no A/C it would be a hot drive. I am moving in just a few weeks and I really need to sell it before I move. $200 deposit due via paypal within 24 hours of auction close.
