Beautiful 1985 Mercedes 300D for sale. I bought this car two weeks ago at a local estate sale and my wife and I don’t really have room for another vehicle. The car runs and drives very nice and is a very solid dependable vehicle. The tires are in very good shape and the wheels are absolutely beautiful. The body is solid, the glass is excellent. The interior is absolutely flawless and beautiful, the seats are nice and the dash is very nice. The diesel runs out very nice and appears to be a very stout motor, the owner I purchased the car from said he had the transmission replaced and it does perform very well, it shifts out very nice and smooth, but there is a small transmission fluid leak, I personally won’t go through the trouble to fix it since it is so small. I just keep an eye on the level and add accordingly, sometimes you drive the car and it doesn’t leak a drop when you park it, sometimes you might have to add a little. The owner had installed the Lovecraft brand vegetable oil conversion kit on the motor so you have the option to run either diesel or vegetable oil through it. You can filter the oil restaurants use to cook with and supplement your fuel consumption with it, it performs best if you burn about 1/3 oil to 2/3 diesel fuel. With the car getting about 35 mpg and 1/3 of your fuel can be obtained for free the car is very economical. I have tried to explain all of this to my wife but she says we don’t have room for all my cars so here I am. I have tried to represent the car accurately, if you have any questions please ask.
