1979 AMC Jeep CJ5. 360 motor bored 30 over with mild cam, headers & flowmaster duel exhaust. Holley carb with Edelbrock aluminum manifold and Edelbrock signature series chrome valve covers, oil cap and air filter. Custom heavy duty drive shaft and big Dana Spicer yokes. Big Daddy Off-Road steering box mount. New in just the past year: bushings, bearings, springs, tie rod, lateral bars, power steering, steering stabilizer (just last week), valve cover gaskets, header gaskets, clutch, bell housing, starter, flywheel.........I can't even remember it all. Jeep's riding on 39.5 x 18 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted on 15" aluminum Weld wheels. Jeep is very powerful and rides really straight and tight. Body is in good shape but in need of a paint job. Body is all metal, no fiberglass, and pretty straight with very, very minimal rust (no rust holes thru body). Frame is straight and clean. My priority has been performance, not looks. However last week my husband borrowed my battery for his car and when he put it back forgot to put the hood latches back on! So now the hood is creased and windshield glass is cracked! Windshield frame is ok but needs new brackets since they got bent. Price is taking into account for these repairs. I drive this jeep locally but have taken it on numerous long trips. It has never left me stranded or stuck. Never been towed home. It has black bucket seats. I have the back seat and the mounting hardware but have never bothered to install it. I have a bikini top, doors and full top for it but the full top has not been on for more than 5 years and is probably dryrotted and no good. I have extra parts I will throw in like a dash that I was planning on putting in when someday it gets repainted. I also have some extra chrome stuff, too. I will not arrange shipping and it would be recommended that you have it shipped or towed. Not that it could not drive to where ever you want to go but it would cost a fortune since it is very high performance motor that gets about 8 miles to the gallon. I do not have any warrantee or guarentee expressed or implied on this vehicle. It is being offered as is. It is a high performance mud/street toy. I drive it as such. It is in good shape and makes me proud and happy every time but it is not perfect and like any used vehicle has a few issues here and there but a great toy that's worth every penny.
