Selling a 1966 convertible Chevrolet Monza Corvair. This is a beautiful classic, and it has been restored to about 95%. The car has NEW brakes, carpet, red basecoat with clearcoat paint, and new vinyl black top with original Corvair top boot. This car also has a fully functional power top which is about a $900 factory upgrade. The interior is all original. The seats are in great condition, with only one very small pick in the back seat at the top which can be fixed very easily. It also has a new dash pad. All electical has been repaired and tested. It has new tires on 14 inch butterfly mag wheels (the mags are not new but they look really good). The car has a 110 horizontal 6 cylinder engine air cooled runs good. It has a two speed trans power glide. Trans leaks a bit but it works good. The rubber on the doors and windows need to be replaced as well as the rubber around the deck lids. Needs two small square ashtray inserts for backseat armrests. Also, the heater is not working - needs duct work. I live in the South and this is a convertible, so it never was an issue for me. It has 81,753 original miles. Does not have original Corvair radio in the car; when I bought it someone had installed a CD player ( I do have an original Corvair radio though that will be sold with the car). This car is an every day driver and a lot of fun, but I would not recommend driving from coast-to-coast as the car is 44 years old.
