Vehicle Detail
Damaged 2002 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa. 53K miles. Engine and transmission were running well before accident. F1 transmission (shifter paddles) and Skyhook suspension. Predominantly cosmetic damage except for drivers-side rear wheel/axle. Unsure of status of frame. Doors/interior undamaged in accident. Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions. Title in hand. On Jul-09-10 at 15:26:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional information: The doors are intact and undamaged, but the side impact airbags did deploy. The front driver and passenger airbags are intact, and did not deploy. I have included more pictures of the vehicle. The trunk lid is intact/undamaged. The hood is almost completely intact. A slight change in the curvature of the line of the drivers side of the hood up near the windshield, easily straightened (not sure if it is even appreciable on the pictures). The guy at the shop where the car is stored believes that although there is slight wrinkling/bend in the passengers side front and rear corner panels, they are salvageable and can be straightened. He even believes that the drivers side front corner panel may be able to be straightened/salvaged as well. Front turn signal lights are intact on both sides, headlight on passengers side is intact. If you look closely at the hood and front corner panels, the line that crosses them about halfway up the hood is actually the clear bra. I don't know if the clear bra actually protected the paint on the drivers side front corner panel. The passenger side wheels are intact, and I believe the drivers side wheels are salvageable. The Mercedes dealership here in town charges $100/wheel to refinish wheels back to new condition (just as a reference). I have been asked twice if the car starts. I only tried to start the car once immediately after the accident. The starter works fine, but the engine did not turn over. I do not believe though that there is any significant mechanical damage to the engine or drivetrain, although I am not a mechanic. I hope the additional pictures are helpful. Obviously the car is being sold as is.
