This car is set up really, really nice. Everyone knows how Hot the 1969 Camaros are, but take a look at Chevy’s follow up to that effort… There is some very interesting information below if you have the time to read, if so let me give you an excerpt from the 2nd generation Camaro experts, Thank you very much for this detailed information supplied from nastyz28.com : “1970 saw the introduction of the all new Second Generation Camaro. The 1st generation Camaro (1967 - 1969) was seen as a hasty response to the Ford Mustang. It was considered a compromise by some critics. There would be no compromises with this car. Due to production delays the 1970 Camaro was introduced in February 1970, half way into the production year. Because of this, some people will call the 1970 Camaro a 1970 1/2, but officially the car is a 1970 model year Camaro. Good things come to those who wait, and this car was met with rave reviews from nearly everyone. Chevrolet had a winner that would run for 12 years. The 1970 Camaro was all new. It was longer (2.0"), lower (1.1") and wider (0.4") than the previous Camaro but still had a 108" wheelbase. It had a wider track (1.7" front, 0.5" rear). It's doors were longer (by 8") and the roof was moved back giving the car a sleek long hood, short rear deck which typified the pony-car. The convertible body style was no longer available. The windshield was swept back increasing visibility by 10% along with hiding the radio antenna within it (depending on radio choice). The rear view mirror was bonded to the windshield, no longer hung off the roof trim. The front subframe was redesigned to improve the structural integrity of the car. Efforts were made to eliminate road noise by strategically insulating various points on the car. The interior of the car was completely redesigned with a new dashboard, console & other interior trim. The follow up to it was the 1971… Thank you very much for this detailed information from nastyz28.com …The 2nd Generation Camaros are Hotter than EVER with the awesome ride Detroit Speed Built for Dale Earnhardt Jr.!!! Use the “Ask Seller A Question” tab here on ebay. Thanks! I’m sure I’m missing something, but this at least gives you an idea of what has been done to this car. The car has a Clear Georgia TITLE. Condition Please read ALL of this IN BLUE if you are serious about buying the car: This is what I would call a great weekend cruiser. This Chevy will win you trophy’s at the local shows and cruise ins but it is not a purely show type car. It could be but was really built to be driven. Actual mileage is unknown but it has been driven about 1000 miles since being restored. The paint is all new and hard too pick but it does have a few imperfections. Call me and we can discuss. Overall it is in very good condition. Paint is very, very shiny with deep gloss. The interior is extremely nice. The overall car is nice. It has almost ALL new parts, glass, trim, bumpers, sill plates, weatherstrip, etc. that was all replaced during the restoration. It is NOT a numbers matching car. It is a HOT ROD CRUISER type car!!! The car is VERY straight and solid with deep, deep gloss paint! The underside was cleaned and detailed a bit, but was made to drive, not be a trailer queen. It has most of its’ ORIGINAL METAL with the exception of partial rear quarters and a partial floor pan and the steel cowl hood. It has a new windshield and brand new side and rear glass. Absolutely everything works on the car. Turn signals, dash lights, horns, back up lights, flashers, side marker lights, license plate light, dome light, heater, blower fan, all work great. It still has a nice CD stereo radio that works very good. Great addition if you want to Cruise!!! About the only thing I can really pick on this car are the door jambs, the miscellaneous touch ups, and a few slight imperfections. The car runs, rides, drives very nice. The car is ready to be driven just about anywhere. It does not really need anything but someone to enjoy it and have some fun with it. The stance is absolutely KILLER too!!! This is a fun car to drive! It runs, rides, drives very nice and is very, very comfortable with the big factory bucket seats. IT IS HAS A NICE MUSCLECAR RUMBLE!!!. What does the car need? Basically it doesn’t have to have anything and with the values of 2nd Generation Camaros being where they are and possibly heading, you might want to buy this car and enjoy it NOW. I just need someone to pay for it and begin to enjoy it themself!!! If you are serious about it, give me a call and let’s discuss any questions you may have. I will give you a straight up excact description with any question you may have. I may add a Buy it Now price during the auction and I will reserve the right to end auction early if necessary. If you are serious, you should bid early, don’t wait till the end, as you just might miss it! I have had many, many Hot Rod and Collector cars over the last several years, and this car gets as many thumbs up as any, including Rally Sport Z28’s, DZ 302, Yenko and COPO Clones, Eleanor cars, Corvettes, Big Block 396, 427 and LS6 Chevelle’s, even some Hemi cars and this one certainly draws people like a magnet. Look at my feedback, whenever I sell something on Ebay I try to be as detailed as I can giving you a factual description to the best of my knowledge. .
