Vehicle Detail

For Sale is my baby, 1989 Toyota Supra w/ sport roof (Targa Top). Automatic/RWD. Car has a 1JZGTE Engine swap as well as the tranny that would have came with that engine. Twin Turbo 2.5L in-line 6. Has a new intercooler, custom 3'' exhaust from the downpipe back to the exhaust, aftermarket muffler (kinda loud), but sounds good...dont know the brand. Also has a SQV blow off valve that has an nice sound to it. Also has a strut tower brace. Car runs well and has plenty of power and drives pretty nice for its age. Not in perfect condition but I trust it to drive it anywhere. Has been repainted at some point but still could use some attention, looks awesome from 5 feet away though. Paint still shines but paint started to peel off the rear bumper as shown in pictures, also around bothe door handles the paint is bubbling, it is not rust though, the body shop told me there was probably too much paint sprayed on it and it cracked. The car has NO RUST anywhere. All of the trim around the windows were painted as well and doesn't look the best up close. Interior is in pretty good condition for its age but not perfect. Both door panels show some wear that can be seen in pictures. Power drivers seat still functions as do the power windows and locks but power door lock button isnt working on the drivers door. I don't think the cruise works. Power antenna still works. All guages work as they should except for the oil pressure gauge...I dont think it works anyway. A/C does not get cold. Car also has newer 17'' wheels and tires. Has (appears to be new) turbo timer that has not been hooked up. Also has a Cold Air Intake Car has red neon all around but I have disconnected some 2 of the lights, the other 2 are on a toggle switch. Car has an in dash DVD/TV with remote, small amp and pioneer sub, (stereo and amp are some no name brand but they were in the car when i bought it, speakers are not the best, probably factory. The Bad: Brakes need a little attention, rotors probably need turned, a little shakey when you apply the brakes. Needs Relay for power headlights to raise and lower, you can raise and lower them manually though. Also needs a neutral safety switch or someone to bypass it. (each time you pass neutral the car will die unless you give it a little gas while selecting gears) the car will start in any gear. Small dents on roof that can probably be removed easily, no crease in dent, probably remove the headliner and push them out...previous owner told me a ladder fell down from the rafters of the garage and hit the car, dents are too noticable, picture does show them. This car does run and drive great for its age, I love it but it has to go as I got a OWI and need to focus on more important things to get my life back on track. Car gets alot of attention and I wish I could keep it because it is a blast to drive! Odometer shows 152,737 miles, I was told the engine and tranny has 40-60k miles. It is very clean and the 1JZ swap was a fantastic job! Car doesn't leak a drop of anything!!On Jul-08-10 at 17:41:58 PDT, seller added the following information: For Sale is my baby, 1989 Toyota Supra w/ sport roof (Targa Top). Automatic/RWD.
