I purchased this TR6 from a long time owner in St. Joseph, MO. It has been off the road for several years, 12 at least. I brought it back here and proceeded to get it running. Previous owner stated that his wife was driving the car regularly until the right back brake froze up. He then removed the brake drums, now stored in the trunk, so that he could easliy move the car. This car is a project. VEHICLE CONDITION BODY: Previous owner had done some body repair but it was never finished. To repair the car properly, it will need rocker and floor pan repair, as well as the fuel cowl repair, like most other TR6 projects. The car has a spot of rust on the frame at the trailing arms that will also need repaired. INTERIOR: The carpet has been pulled up and the seats need redone. Dash was removed when I got it so he could restore it but he never did anything with it. It is back in place now solely for photo purposes. The key was lost years ago so the switch is not the original and it is not hooked up. MECHANICAL: Original engine with good compression from 135 to 145 on all cylinders. The car has not been driven in years so it will need brake and clutch hydraulics as well as fuel system repair. Standard 4 speed, no overdrive. TOP & COVERS: The top frame is here. An aftermarket hardtop will be included. I have a good title in my name. PLEASE READ THESE AUCTION TERMS PRIOR TO BIDDING By placing a bid on this car, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below. Or you can simply call me Joe @ 816-520-2433 from 8 AM to 8 PM central time, any day. Payment: I require a $250 non-refundable deposit via paypal within 48 hours of the auction end. The remainder of the balance is due within 7 days of the auction end and is payable in the form of a cashiers check, USPS money order, or cash in person when the car is picked up (provided the car is picked up within the 7 day time frame from auction end). If you are picking up the car in person, cash in person is the required form of payment. Shipping: This is your responsibility. I will help with the loading of the car. Please bring your own ramps for your trailer, tie downs, etc. as none will be provided. If you are arranging shipping with a transport company, please be sure to tell them that all pickup arrangements must be made 24 hours in advance and the car must be picked up before 8 PM. I live on a winding country road and I don't want any loading on it after dark. Pickup of car: This must be done by noon on July 22nd, unless prior arrangements have been made and I agree to them. Failure to pick up the car within this time frame will result in storage fees of $20 per day that must be paid before the car is released.
