1972 Plymouth Duster H Code 340 4 Speed Reasonable Rides and Rods presents this beautiful 1972 Plymouth Duster for all of you Mopar fans. This Duster is a real H code 340 4 speed car with 4.10 sure grip posi rear in Sassy Grass Green. The car was rotisserie restored about 2 years ago and the underside of the car is painted as well. The paint quality is very good and would be rated as about a 7.5-8 on a scale of 1-10. All of the panels are original and there is no rust on the car. The hood has twin non-functional scoops and is painted satin black. All of the trim is in great shape and the rear bumper is new. Equipped with a NOM rebuilt 1969 340 with a mild cam, aluminum intake, holley carburetor, and ceramic coated headers, this little Duster packs some punch. The engine only has about 1000 miles on it and runs like a champ. During the restoration, the entire front and rear suspension was rebuilt and the car tracks and drives excellent. The 4 speed shifts great and the clutch and pressure plate were replaced when the engine was installed. A new full length exhaust with turbo mufflers gives this car a nice rumble, but not too loud. This Duster comes equipped with manual front disc brakes/rear drums, and manual steering. The interior has been upgraded with new carpet, new door panels, seat covers (front and rear bench), and a new headliner. The dash pad is in great condition and the dash is basically uncut and original. The glove box is missing the Duster emblem, but can be readily purchased and installed. Currently, there is no radio, but we can install one or the new owner can install their radio of choice. All of the glass is in great shape. This Duster rides on new 18x8 Boss 338 wheels wrapped with Falken 225/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear tires. The wheel and tire combination really sets off the black accents on the car. I do have a set of slot “mag” wheels that were on the car when we acquired it. The new owner is welcome to that set of tires and wheels if they want them. This car starts, runs, drives and stops like it should. It has no leaks and makes no strange noises. This Duster runs cool even in the summer heat and has a new radiator. This car would make a great cruiser and likely to win many local shows based on its presentation. I highly recommend an inspection and test drive of this very nice H code Duster. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of Auction end. All Sales are subject to a flat Documentary Fee of $50, a $40.75 State Inspection Fee, and a Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax based on .0017489 of the purchase price. Our Documentary Fee is collected by Reasonable Rides and Rods and is not mandated by the state of Texas. Residents of Texas will be required to pay sales tax of 6.25% and registration/inspection fees, but out-of-state buyers may register and pay applicable taxes in their home state.
