LOWERED OPENING BID TO $3400. TIME TO GET IT ROLLING!! 1991 HONDA GOLDWING GL1500 SE, GOLD AND BROWN, ONLY YEAR THERE WAS ACTUALLY A GOLDWING THAT WAS REALLY GOLD! LOADED WITH GOLDWING AMENITIES, EXCELLENT CONDITION, NO RESERVE SO HIGH BIDDER WILL WIN. COLOR LOOKS YELLOW IN PICS BUT IS ACTUALLY GOLD. IS NOT THE ORIGINAL GOLD COLOR AS HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALY REPAINTED. COLOR LOOKS TO ME LIKE IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE '85 GL1200 LIMITED. DON'T HAVE ONE OF THOSE AROUND TO COMPARE BUT KNOW IT IS VERY CLOSE. GOLDWING HAS BEEN THE STANDARD OF QUIET SMOOTH TOURING SINCE THE FIRST ONE IN 1975 AND THE GL1500 WAS A "WHOLE NEW WORLD" FROM EVEN THE GL1200. 6 CYLINDERS, CRUISE CONTROL, AND ++REVERSE++ TOTALLY SET IT APART FROM ANYTHING ELSE. SOME EVEN PREFER IT TO THE NEWER GL1800 (AWESOME BIKE FOR SURE) AS 1500 HAS HIGHER LOAD CAPACITY, MORE STORAGE SPACE, AND A LITTLE MORE "CUSH" RIDE. GOLDWINGS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN KNOWN FOR RELAIBILITY AND LONGEVITY AND THE 1500 SET NEW STANDARDS HERE. MANY ARE STILL GOING STRONG WITHOUT OVERHAUL WITH 300K OR MORE MILES. HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN A COUPLE OVER HALF A MILLION, STILL GREAT, NO OVERHAUL. I'VE HAD ABOUT 400 OF THESE AND HAD ONLY 2 WHERE THIS HAS HAPPENED AS IS RARE. ALSO, HAVE NEVER HEARD OF IT HAPPENING IN ANY YEAR LATER THAN THIS '91 SO THIS ONE IS NOW ACTUALLY BETTER THAN ORIGINAL. TIRES ARE MATCHED BRIDGESTONES WITH MORE THAN HALF TREAD REMAINING SO GOOD TO GO FOR A LONG TIME. CAN SHIP ALMOST ANYWHERE BUT GREAT TIME TO COME TO UTAH AND RIDE HOME THROUGH SOME BEAUTIFUL ROCKY MOUNTAIN SCENERY. WE HAVE MORE NATIONAL PARKS THAN ANY OTHER STATE (CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PLUG THERE).
