Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice '63 Corvair convertible. 6 cylinder, 4 speed runs and drives excellent. The car has had some restoration work done to it in the past. It is mechanically sound: engine, transmission, steering, brakes, tires, lights, etc.. The body, trunk, and underbody are in good condition, very solid and straight body. It's been repainted within the past 10 years and still looks and shines well, but isn't perfect. The manual convertible top appears to have been replaced in recent years as it's in good condition and very easy to operate. The doors open & close properly. There are a couple of minor scratches on the windshield from worn wiper blades that could possibly be buffed out. It could use some new door weatherstripping. It has the original AM radio that works. The interior is in excellent condition. The seats have also been re-done in recent years with newer OEM type of vinyl, and has a newer vinyl boot cover for the conv't top. The previous owner had a list of things that were done to the car in 2005: *All New Gaskets installed in engine *Rebuilt Rearend *Rebuilt Transmission with new clutch & pressure plate *All New U-Joints *New Shocks on the rear *New Gas Tank Sending Unit *Complete Brake Inspection *New Front Chrome Bumper *New Boot for conv't top I would like to keep this car but my schedule doesn't allow me much time to drive it very much. It's a lot of fun to drive and nice enough to take to your local car shows or cruise nights. I always get a lot of compliments on the car whenever I get it out for a drive. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end in the form Pay Pal or money order or bank cashier's check. Balance of payment due within 7 days of auction end.
