Vehicle Detail

1969 Triumph chopper with 1965 tr6 motor and bonneville head. Registered to the frame. Ceriani forks with dampener, New clutch basket, plates, and ramp. Joe hunt magneto with dual Amal 30 mm carbs. Tickle them till they bleed over and it will start in the first 2 kicks even when the temp gets down to the 30's. It leaks a little. Somtimes first gear talks back to you when you engage, mostly it does not. But all gears engage well. New paint on tank from High and Tight ; they do Keino's and Paul Cox's bikes. The hardtail is bolted on, good enough for the factory, good enough for me. I've left the swingarm mounts intact as well. This bike could be easily restored to stock in the future. I don't know. Oh, I also made the seat, the stainless exhaust, the guard on the mooneyes oil tank from the chain, rebuilt the motor, put on twinduro tires, 21 front, 18 rear, stainless brake stay and linkage, hella head light, airplane wing tail light, and aluminum fender. The other bars in the Greasy Kulture photos come with it too. And it was in Godspeed 45/06 #1 And Hotbike Japan #102 V Magazine summer 2009 Riders #16 (italian) Iron Horse (?) click on http://wkithok.blogspot.com/ http://mistertinker.com/ to see more Currently registered here in NYC so please come by and see it. Thank you, Neil On Jul-08-10 at 03:58:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello tune up. So yesterday I cleaned, reset the gap and re-timed the Hunt magneto. The orange oil filter is now a fresh new black one, new oil all around. Gas filters cleaned too. Took off the timing cover and rebuilt oil pump, new springs and balls in there now. And now the leak coming from that cover has been sealed up. Still a tiny leak from below. Thank you everyone for looking. I built this bike to deal with NYC. Very light and maneuverable, seat holds you in, ceriani's work well, brakes front and back, and narrow bars to get through traffic. Oh yeah, the tank was originally from a triumph triple that was dented up pretty bad. So I just tweaked it more and came with this. So I guess it's still triumph? On Jul-08-10 at 04:41:39 PDT, seller added the following information: And I posted some more pics at mistertinker.com.
