Vehicle Detail

This car was a daily driver until I took it off the road in 2005 to do some work on her. Car has working A/C with new type freon, front disc brakes and power steering. The car has sat in my garage ever since and now I find myself un-employed and my old mistress looking like she needs a new sugar daddy. This was an almost ideal car for me except that it wasn't a SX model. She is an original blue car with a rare blue interior. Dual sport mirrors, bucket seats and console with sport steering wheel. Dashboard is un-cracked and in excellent condition as is the shifter and console aside from some worn chrome trim. Door panels are in great condition but the arm rests have been re-covered. Headliner is also in great condition. The front and rear seats I believe are wearing factory style replacement covers of which the drivers seat is very worn but the rest are in fair to good shape. The vinyl top is no longer restorable and is basically a moisture retention device. Rust is bubbling under the front edge above the windshield (which is cracked on the passenger side), and the rear deck panel is in pretty bad shape. The rear quarters are also cancer ridden below the roof pillers and behind the rear wheels. The trunk lid is in pretty good shape with only minor rust and the trunk inside has surface rust in some areas but there are no holes in the panels nor are there any in the floorboards. The complete jack comes with the car. The rest of the body has some rust, dings and scratches but nothing to serious. I pulled the top of the engine to give the heads a valve job (exhaust valves (8), seals and guides) and clean the Edlebrock performer intake. The springs, cam and lifters are all Edlebrock performer as is the 650 Carter style carb. Headers are from Heddman with dual exhaust. She has a 4 core radiator with a flex and electric fan, new altenater and water pump. The block itself was rebuilt in 1998 but only has about 50,000 on it. Pistons were replaced with .030 units. Engine should be stripped and cleaned and inspected before re-assembly. The transmission is a turbo 350 that was recently rebuilt and was very tight when I garaged her. I have 5 american racing 15 x 7 rims (1 for the spare) with Comp T/A 225 60R15 that only have about a year on them. I've tried to be as up front as possible and have provided several good pictures so you can judge if this is a parts car or a restorable project. There will be no whinning or bartering at pick-up time. Car must be picked up in the Charlotte N.C region. A 500.00 deposit must be made by paypal within 3 days of auction end and the remainder must be paid in cash when car is picked up. I am flexable about time span before pick-up as long as you communicate with me. Two weeks on the outside would be ideal. I am a born Olds guy so if you have any questions about my baby and your wanting to take her away.... feel free. Thanks and good luck !!!!
