Inifiniti M35X with all available options and upgrades (except for reclining rear seat and rear DVD player - factory installed - front DVD player included!!!). This car is in immaculate condition. Very lightly used on long highway rides. Being my third car it was used sparingly, therefore it has only 33K miles. So carefully driven and used that certain areas of the interior still even have the factory plastic wrapper! Dings scrapes and scratches - There are a few very small blemishes - most people would not even bother listing them - but I know the are there so I want you to be aware of them.Trunk - there are two small scratches - these are barely noticeable and you have to really look hard. Please see the photo (last few ones) - I have placed a quarter next to it and had to make sure the lighing was perfect - otherwise the camera would not pick it up...Hood - there are again 2-3 small scratches (also in the photos with a quarter for comparison) and barely noticeable...Rear driver quarter-panel - There is a tiny, tiny chip and a very tiny ding - probably caused by a small pebble on the interstate - again I have photographed this. Its not that visible, although you can see this one if you look closely.Curb Scratches on Wheels - 3 of the 4 wheels have curb scratches - again this is typical for a car that had been driven for 4 years. I have included the photos of all 3 of the wheels that have scratches. If you want to, you can get these off by re-surfacing the wheels. Most people would claim that this car is in mint condition. I would say that it is in near mint condition given that I have owned it since 2006 and driven it. Advanced Transmission: The five-speed automatic transmission is electronically controlled and can adapt its shifting to the driver's driving style. It does a good job in most situations, not always going for the highest possible gear and almost making manual-shift mode unnecessary--almost. Manual shifting is, at times, more rewarding, and usually results in quicker acceleration, since gears can be held as long as possible. And the M35x, even with a couple hundred extra pounds for the AWD system, is quick enough to be satisfying. All-wheel Drive System: Is an intelligent system that senses the needs of the moment and distributes the torque exactly where and when needed. When conditions are not challenging all the power goes to the rear wheels for the coveted rear-wheel-drive experience. With the most demanding conditions the torque split is 50/50. When the ABS system senses slippage at one wheel the power goes to the others. Adaptive (Intelligent) Cruise Control: Infiniti’s Intelligent Cruise Control system adds a dimension to traditional cruise control systems by allowing the driver to maintain an appropriate distance from the car ahead. Using a combination of laser sensors, throttle and brake actuators and the vehicle’s braking system, a laser signal measures the distance to the car ahead, then automatically adjusts vehicle speed to maintain a pre-selected gap. This feature is especially useful in long distance driving...! RearView Parking Camera System: The RearView system improves upon earlier backup video systems in that the wide-angle display is overlaid by colored dashed lines, which indicate an area that's the width of the car, as well as solid lines that display the car's projected trajectory and are calculated by the amount of steering lock. It is much more useful than systems that merely display the area behind the car, given that the straight, wide-angle perspective is confusing when you compare it to a normal visual perspective. Climate Controlled Seats: The perforated leather covering the front and outboard rear-seating surfaces is good for more than looks, since, with the Journey Package, it hides the workings of the climate-control seat system in front. Cabin air is drawn in from under the seat, then passes through a thermoelectric heating and cooling element in the seat back before being fan-forced through passageways in the foam and out through the ventilation holes. The cooling effect is pleasantly comfortable on a hot summer day. The seats themselves provide the comfort and support we expect in a luxury car. Premium Entertainment System: I am an audiophile and the audio performance on this car is the best I have heard in any system - let alone a car audio system!!! The sound is so amazing and is miles above the "standard" sound package. The premium sound options (as the one in this car) even adds speakers to the shoulders of the driver and passenger seats!! Please see the photo... In addition to playing back CD's, MP3's and WMA's - the premium package adds a DVD player for DVD and 5.1 surround premium DVD-audio playback. Here is a link to "Stereophile Magazine" review of the sound system form the G35, the M35's version (that is the one in this car) is way more advanced. http://www.stereophile.com/news/071706infiniti/ Lane Departure Warning System: The lane departure warning system uses a small camera, a speed sensor, an indicator and an audible warning buzzer to let drivers know the vehicle has drifted out of its lane. The system is temporarily disabled when you flip on the turn signals, and has a manual cancel switch, which allows you to turn the system off whenever desired. The system automatically resets when the vehicle is restarted. The LDW camera is mounted behind the rearview mirror, where it tracks lane markings. The markings and vehicle speed are sent to the system’s microprocessing unit, which combines the information to calculate the distance between the vehicle and the lane marking and the vehicle's lateral velocity to the marking. The sytem uses the information to make a judgement as to whether the vehicle is moving out of the lane. If it appears that the vehicle is leaving the lane, the warning signals come on to alert the driver to take corrective action. A significant percentage of fatal accidents in the U.S. are caused by lane departure, usually from driver distraction, inattention or drowsiness. The new system will kick in if you drive out of the lane when handling tasks like adjusting your audio system, searching for items inside the car, or when you're involved in a cell phone conversation and not watching the road as closely as you should.Preview Braking and Pre-Crash Seat Belts: Preview Braking works side-by-side with Brake Assist. Whereas normally braking is activated only when the driver recognizes the need and moves his or her foot to activate the brake pedal, the preview function utilizes the ICC sensors to identify potential sudden braking situations (by sensing the vehicle ahead in the same lane and the distance and relative speed from it) and “pre-pressurizes” the Brake Assist system before the driver steps on the brake pedal.
