Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my very clean, hard top, stick shift, 1996 Camaro. I bought this vehicle to make into a drag car because it was so clean and well taken care of. I have since been layed off and am selling all my vehicles. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner (women owned) who did not have the funds to repair the engine as she just had the manual trans and clutch replaced. The body is in great shape for a 1996 with very few cosmetic flaws. There is very slight surface rust on some of the underbody and suspension but nothing structural or to worry about. The original owner never drove it in winter and thats why the body is in such good condition. The bad item on this car is the engine, it turns over but does not start, I have not spent any time on diag as I was just going to remove the engine and swap in an LS1 but it may be easily repaired. The original owner had covers on the seats, dash and steering wheel since it was new so they look all most new as you can see in the pictures. The dash is clean with no signs of cracks or damage. The carpet is clean and there are no burn holes or rips. This Camaro has black Z06 wheels and new Eagle F1 tires in size 275/35R18 all the way around. The wheels and tires alone were $1400. As you can see there is a functional ram air hood and a wings west wing that were another $1500 installed. I was going to do a rear disc brake conversion so I will also include these new performance rotors (still shrink wrapped in the box) I also have the original Z28 style wheels that are included in the auction but not photographed. There is one spot on the passenger side bottom of the1/4 panel, in front of the tire, where the paint is starting to bubble, everywhere else is in great to good with the normal usual wear that comes with age. This is a great starting point for anybody that has a smashed or totaled LT1 / LS1 car and needs a great body or somebody young that would love a super handling car that has a stick and looks sick! If you have any questions, send me a message. Thanks for looking
