1981 Mercedes 380SL This vehicle was purchased at a salvage auction and has a salvage title!!! Interior * Dash has cracks * Instruments works with the exception of the odometer * All lights are working * Has aftermarket radio * Heat and air have not been tested, but interior fan does work * Door panels, seats, and carpet are in good shape (no tears) * TOP - in working order, no tears, plastic is clear Body * No visible rust * Left rear quarter is the worst, my body shop said it could easily be repaired * Right quarter has a baseball size dent on the top * Right fender has baseball dent on corner * Hood needs replacement * Bumpers are in good shape * Wheels and tires are in great shape * All glass is intact as well as all moldings Mechanical * This vehicle drives, it has been tested for approximately 5 miles. Motor and transmission seem to work great for age with no visible leaks or noise. Power steering is noisy when first started. This vehicle would be a great project or a perfect donor car!
