Well, plain and simple...I have four cars and a two car garage, so something has got to go. Dont email me asking the reserve...its LOW!!! I have over 8K in the car, and the reserve is less than half that. Its just time to move on. The auction is for the car only, however I have many hot rod parts that we could barter on, including axles, engine(265) with trans, firewall, etc. As the title points out its a 26/27 Model T Roadster PU. Engine is 2.0 Ford, trans is a C4, rear is a late 50's Ford. Front end has been redone, with new everything. Brakes have been done with Wilwood dual pot, balance bar set-up. New column, with SS DD steering bars. There is tons of stuff I'm missing...but these beers are good. However, these are not included in the purchase of the car!!, nor on their own as of yet. But Ive decided if the car sells for over 4K, I will include the small block engine(56-265), with a saginaw 3sp trans, along with two bell housings. One for a 56' style mount, and the other is for a cross-member mount. Both engine and trans will need to be inspected for wear, but I believe them to be in good shape. Below is a list of other things I have, if you want to offer a 'package deal'. NOTE: This is not a free for all parts grab. I will sell these things by themselves at another time. If your going to buy the car, and want/need the parts, I'll consider it, but they are not for sale on their own, at this time. -SBC 56'-265ci -saginaw 3sp with two bells -socal 3-4" drop axle -socal reverse eye spring stack, perches, kinpins -speedway spindles 28'-48'??? -53-56 ford brake parts, several sets -53-56 ford hubs, two sets -53-56 ford steering box, column -53-56 ford rims (2) -original 30 ford model a headlights -sbc parts-alt, starter, etc -sbc truck headers - have some other stuff coming in, but condition unknown as of yet (6-1940 ford wheels, dana 44 axle 4.11) On Jul-04-10 at 17:20:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Ive had a few people notice, and yes the front and rear axle, as well as the rear hairpins were originally chromed. However, they do have some pitting, and the previous owner just took cans of flat black and basically sprayed the whole thing. These items could be restored to their origianl luster...but I wouldn't...I like the flat black. You guys/gals are close to the reserve, I cant wait to see these fireworks at the end with all the 'watchers'. Best of luck!
