Up for auction is this 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air. Amazing original survivor car with 62,XXX original miles. Factory 283 V8, Powerglide automatic transmission, padded dash, full hubcaps, fender birds, and reverse lights. 100% original interior in amazing condition for it's age. One repaint over the years that is still respectable. Very dry Oakland, CA built car. No rust in the usual areas: Rear 1/4's, floors, trunk, etc. are all very dry and original. Some very minor areas that the paint is bubbling but feel is is due to age and prep of paint at the time. No signs of any metal replacement or serious accidents. All glass is original and in very good condition besides for a minor crack in the bottom right corner of the drivers door glass. This Bel Air runs and drives very well and the brakes function as they should...I wouldn't hesitate to get in and drive it anywhere. Most everything appears to function as it should: All lights, turn signals, dash lights, interior light, turn signals, reverse lights, original radio, rear accessory speaker and switch, etc. Has had an accessory aftermarket cruise control unit added at one point in it's life and appears to function as it should, but could easily be removed without any damage to the cars originality. New B.F. Goodrich 7.50x14 Silvertown white wall tires. All trim and chrome is in good condition for it's age. Appears to have been garaged most of it's life and it was well cared for. This is an excellent example of a classic 59 Bel Air and a great survivor series vehicle. There are no disappointments with this one. Clear title included. Not currently registered.
