Vehicle Detail

1975 Chevrolet Laguna Type S-3 sporting a 6.6L 400sbc just waiting to be awoken and a 3 speed th350/400 automatic transmission. The original motor and tranny has 37,xxx miles on it, matching numbers, and includes aftermarket parts installed, #1406 Edelbrock performer carb, Edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold, and catless flowmaster exhaust. Idles well and turns a lot of heads. Besides that everything is pretty much stock. The body could use work, a few minor dings and a need for a new paint job. There is a thin line of rust bottom seal of the rear windshield and a bit of rust also may have gotten to the inner fender behind the rear tires due to a leak in the trunk. The rare original slanted lightweight urethane nose is in decent shape but does need to be worked smooth a little above the left headlight. The interior needs to be restored but for the mean time there's an aftermarket radio deck and the a/c works. Comes with original 15” rally wheels, front disc brakes (need replacing along with the wheel bearings), rear drum brakes, and a suspension that was well ahead of its time (suspension can be upgraded using parts from '94-'96 SS or 9c1, anti roll bars from any of the '73-'77 A/G models will work as well as the '77 up b/f-bodies). The rear Cooper Cobra tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left but the front tires need replacing. I replaced the front upper/lower control arms and bushings less than 500 miles ago. These classic A-bodies are quite the rarity (~8000 manufactured and a part of NASCAR history) yet they are becoming more and more popular. I'm a 19 year old college student so it's not the best vehicle for me but this is a hard sale because she has got so much potential lying beneath just a few fixes and tweaks. Thanks for reading and checking out the page. I will also throw in a 750 cfm rochester quadrajet carb and a carb spacer (spread to squarebore adapter) Feel free to ask for more pictures or any other questions On Jun-28-10 at 09:26:13 PDT, seller added the following information: FOR SALE BY PRIVATE SELLER! 1975 Chevrolet Laguna Type S-3 sporting a 6.6L 400sbc just waiting to be awoken and a 3 speed th350/400 automatic transmission.
