You are bidding on an a very good 1987 Benz 560 SL, 2dr, 2 tops convertible with a bulletproof V8, 5.6L engine with automatic transmission with very nice color combination. Two owner car and the second owner owned it since 1988. No cost was ever spared on the car always been highly maintained, many new parts. Low and original documented miles with only 158k/miles and always garage kept, none smoker, never driven in rain or snow, dealer serviced and maintained. Car runs, drives, shifts and handles well. Car sat garaged for two years with starting it every once in a while. Just changed all 8 plugs and all fluids are up to par. It does not smoke burn or drips any oil or any other fluids. It hold the road very well, it is a very good, solid and sturdy car. Minor surface rust issues as you can see from photos and the undercarriage with very minor spots, yet is very clean. It is mostly on passenger side and that side’s door molding is missing and all it needs is that strip to put on the door, easy to do and cheap to buy. Driver side has very minor rust issues. Body has no damage but does have some rust and the paint has peeled in a few spots showing the original color. Driving it is a pleasure and a blast! As far as I can tell, It is a drive and go car and ready for any road trip on a moment’s notice. I would drive it anywhere without any hesitations. Very sleek looking car with Brown exterior with very nice Tan interior and a new Chocolate Brown soft top. Very classy and sassy indeed. Comes fully loaded with power locks, power windows, power steering, driver air bag, cruise control, pull out stereo system and 2 built in Radar Detectors, power mirror, heat, AC, works but needs a charge to be very cold and I may do that before the end of the auction, and both hard and soft tops. All of these options work very well and as they should. Benz factory installed security system and alarm. It has all books, manuals, Service records, extra keys, original tools, jack, full size spare tire and a complete original First Aids Kit. All lights, signals, wipers, gauges, stereo system, as well horn, and clock operate, as they should. These cars were built to last. A true classic and it had a price tag of $65k back in 1987 and worth every penny of it. NADA values the car today at $25k and it keeps going up in value. It is a No Reserve Auction. Last Bid Wins. Exterior is very good overall with some light scratches. All glass, chrome, moldings are excellent as well as hard and soft tops. Very good tires, exhaust and battery. Interior is very good without any rips, tares dash is like new. Driver seat has a little rip, leather peeled back on left side from getting in and out; it is an easy mend with little cost. Seats are very good, as you can see from photos as the whole interior. All inserts, carpets, dash, and leather are very nice. Car is located in Milwaukee, WI.
