1970 Honda SL-125

1970 HONDA SL-125I bought this bike several years ago with the intent of restoring it. I just don’t have the time to restore the bike, so I’m hoping to pass it on to someone who does. The bike is all original, with only 1,370 miles showing on the odometer. I can’t guarantee the mileage to be accurate, but I would guess it is, as the bike appears to have the original tires, with not much wear. The bike is in pretty decent shape overall, but does have the typical scratches, dings, etc. I don’t see any dents in the tank, only some scratches. I don’t know the condition of the engine. The shaft where the kick start lever attaches is sheared off where the lever would attach, so I can’t try to kick the engine over. I did receive a shaft that the kick lever attaches to, but I’ve never installed it. It will come with the bike. There is a hole in the seat cover on the right side, depicted in the photo. There are no side covers with the bike. Please ask all the questions you need to ask BEFORE YOU BID. I will forward as much info and as many pictures to serious buyers as needed. Most potential bidders want to know about the engine, if it will turn over or not. I took the spark plug out last night and tried "rocking" the bike in one of the higher gears. Can't seem to make the engine move. I can't say for sure that the engine is seized, but please bid on this bike thinking that it is. Probably why the kick start shaft is sheared off. I would think that anyone buying this bike would want to restore it, overhauling the engine anyway.
