1982 Honda 250R ATC "STORED SINCE 1984" NEW TIRES Vehicle Description "FOR SALE" "CLASSIC" 1982 HONDA 250R ATC "Stored Since 1984" "VERY CLEAN, FAST & FUN" I brought this back to NW Ohio in April from So.California to sell for a friend where it had been stored the past 26 years in his garage since 1984 . I was present when it last ran in 1984 and have known it since he purchased it New! (This is a 28 year old time capsule ATC!) I installed 3 New Dunlap Tires. Recovered the seat. Installed a New Carb mounting flange/seal, Handle Bar Grips. It has a after market muffler by: BILL'S PIPES, and a MIKUNI Performance Carburator. It is in it's original unrestored condition & paint with the exception of the above mentioned items. The original disc brakes are in excellent condition. This ATC has very little time on it and is in very nice solid condition as you can see in the photo's! (The mileage is listed as 30 miles but is only a estimate). The plastic seat/rear fender unit has a couple of small cracks behind the seat area which could be repaired (none going to the outside edge). I have fired it up but it needs the carb cleaned out or adjusted as I can only get it to run for a few seconds at a time when I squirt gas in the carb (It may have sticking floats from sitting all these years, or I simply don't know how to get it started?) I don't want to take the carb apart as I don't have any working knowledge of these carburetors.
