Up for bid is a 2 door 1972 Chevy Nova. It has the original 307, V8 engine and it has automatic transmission (I don't know anything else about the transmission other than that.)The car is not currently running and it hasn't ran since 2001. That being the case, I have no idea what kind of condition the engine and transmission are in. The odometer reads 43,999 miles, but I'm almost certain that is not the actual mileage. This car was originally purchased in Alabama back in 1972, and I am the 4th owner of this car. Alabama didn't become a title state until 1975, so there is no title nor has there ever been one for this car. All I need to sell this car is a bill of sale and a non-titled letter, which I already have. There is also a small reserve on this car. There is some surface rust on the body, which the pictures clearly show. Many of the spots that look like rust on the hood are places where the black primer is showing. There are 3 small areas on the body that have rusted all the way through, and I have included pics of those places. There are also some small rust bubbles underneath the vinyl top. The trunk pan has obviously seen better days, and I think it is safe to say that it will probably need to be replaced. This car used to have ac, but not anymore. The car has bench seats and the overall interior isn't that bad. The dash pad is cracked, the driver's side door skin needs to be replaced and there is a rip on the backrest of the driver's seat area. Also, there is a hole in the driver's side floorboard, and the passenger side floorboard is soft. This car will also come with the following parts, which are not pictured: (2) headlight bezels, (2) front headlights & brackets, front grill, license plate bracket, all of the front and rear bumper brackets, spare tire, tire iron, (2) windshield wipers, chrome window trimming, new reprodution assembly manual, (2) bumpers (both will probably need to be replaced) & other misc. parts & bolts. This car has a lot of potential, and it would be a good restoration project. Money orders or Cashier's checks only for this purchase.
