Vehicle Detail
2006 Lexus SC-430 Hard Top Convertible This is as close to an absolutely new looking and driving Lexus SC-430 as you're ever likely to find for less than a new $70,000.00 SC-430. Look it up for yourself at www.kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book). You will find that private party value is between $28,775.00 (Good Condition) and $30,475.00 (Excellent Condition) for this car. You will also find that retail value for this car is $35,000.00 Ladies..........You know you love this car. Guys..........the ladies LOVE this car.......enough said. Always garaged.... No dents.......No dings. Never taken through an automatic car wash.....always hand washed. It even has the optional factory spoiler from Lexus. This car currently has a Lexus Platinum 100,000 mile warranty (pretty much a bumper to bumper warranty from Lexus, not an aftermarket warranty). The warranty is good until December of 2012. For an additional $1,450.00 above the final sale price I'll transfer the warranty to the new owner. If you don't feel that you need the warranty, I will cancel it and Lexus will refund me for the unused portion of the warranty. Once again.......No dents.......No dings. A little closer inspection and still.....No dents.....No dings. Ditto.......... Wait until you see it with the top down. The quietness and security of a hard top and all the fun of a convertible in one car. With the top up, this car is actually more quiet on the road than my Expedition Limited. Beautiful.......... The car will have a few more miles on it (not many more) because I still drive it from time to time. I will stop driving it completely on the day that it sells. Low profile performance rated tires and a sports car suspension equal awesome cornering. Even though it is technically a sports car, it behaves and rides like a luxury car out on the highway. It is truly the best of both worlds. 4-Wheel disc brakes......this thing will stop on a dime. The active headlamp system automatically levels the HID head lights. It also means that when you go around a curve or corner, the headlights pivot automatically in the direction of the turn. This system helps you to see around the curves in the road much better than conventional headlights and is really a cool thing to watch. A couple of passers by admiring the car at the park......you'll get a lot of that. I can't take it anywhere and not have someone compliment me on it. Going down.......... The hard top folds neatly into the trunk. All automatic at the press of a button. Folded down into the trunk......almost finished. My son in the background sending a picture of the car to one of his friends. Now it's time for some fun at the beach or just cruising Ocean Boulevard. Guys..........did I mention that the ladies LOVE this car? So shiny.......... HY$HORSE = High Dollar Horse It's my wife's car.....she has horses......I have airplanes and motorcycles. I'm not sure which is more high maintenance. Unlike the horses and airplanes, this car has been the most low maintenance vehicle that I've ever owned. I traded a Mercedes ML-500 AMG in on this car and the difference between them is like night and day. The Mercedes lived in the maintenance shop. This car asks for nothing more than regular oil changes. Dual Exhaust You can't see any in the pictures, but in the interest of full disclosure, there are a few small rock chips on the nose. They are no more than you would expect from any car that is driven on any highway in America, but they are there. For probably no more than $100 you could have any paint shop touch them up so you couldn't see them at all. These pictures have not been "touched up" in any way. As you can see, the car looks GREAT! Have you ever seen a more luxurious convertible? The steering is tight and it handles like a sports car should. No excuses necessary.....just a great handling car! It honestly drives like a new car. As a matter of fact, it drives better than most new cars. So much wood and leather......... Steering wheel mounted stereo controls as well as voice command navigation system controls. The system is bluetooth compatible and will sync with most cell phones for hands free calls. The navigation system is voice command capable and is a touch screen also. The leather seats, console, and door panels look and feel new. The smell of expensive leather is guaranteed to make you smile........it makes me smile anyway. This picture shows the navigation screen open and the stereo cover open. This picture shows the navigation screen open and the stereo cover closed. This picture shows the navigation screen closed and the stereo cover closed. All electric seat controls......even electric lumbar adjustments. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) On/Off on the right. Release switch for spare change compartment in the center. Transmission and engine electronic power setting switch to the left. I forgot to take a picture of it in the open position, but the long wooden thing to the right of the shift knob is the cup holder. Variable heated seats The driver's door (of course) has two memory positions. The driver's side memory controls seat position, tilting / telescoping steering wheel position, and exterior mirror position. The passenger seat even has memory seats with two memory positions. Auto up and down windows (Driver and passenger side) This car has not been smoked in......I don't allow it in my vehicles or my house. Homelink system for your garage door openers, etc. The steering wheel is even electric......Up / Down / Extend / Retract. When you take the key out of the ignition, it retracts to make it easier to exit the car. When you get back in and put the key in, it goes back to where you had it set before you got out. Dual automatic climate controls Trip computer, Navigation buttons, top up / down switch, etc. Lexus installed Sirius / XM satellite radio.....an absolute must for long trips. If you're into loud and powerful stereo sound, look no further. The Mark Levinson system will indeed almost make your ears bleed. If you're more into accurate reproduction of stereo sound, it does all that too. The Mark Levinson system's sound is crystal clear.. I have two keys.....I only had one with me yesterday when I took the pictures. That's important......these keys are not cheap. Trunk area with cover in place to allow top to be retracted. Trunk with cover retracted (Top will not come down when this cover is retracted). Lexus trunk mat......though I don't have the trunk net in place, I do have it. I just never use it. Under side of trunk lid.......Just thought you might want to see it for some reason. Pretty self explanatory isn't it? 300 Horse Power V-8 Lexus engine.......and in an almost all lightweight aluminum car. The hood is even made of aluminum. High HP and low weight......you guys (ladies too I would imagine) know what that means! Oil changed exactly 250 miles ago The engine runs as smooth as glass. Silky smooth power just barely begins to describe it. New battery from Lexus. I left an interior light turned on while I was away on business.......not good for the battery. Lexus replaced it.....NO CHARGE. Left front wheel Left rear wheel Right rear wheel......I could have done a little better with this picture. Right front wheel NEW LOW PROFILE PERFORMANCE TIRES........Less than 1,000 miles on them. As I said..........new tires. All wheels also have the automatic low tire pressure warning system. I've almost talked myself out of selling it.............
