1968 Mustang Convertible. VIN # 8T03T122657. The car was originally a 6 cyl. but has been converted to a 302 V-8. The car is auto., has power steering, power brakes, power top. It still has the 4 lug drums. The car is in running condition, but needs brakes to be drivable. The car needs the following unibody metal work: inner rockers, floor pans, torque boxes and a left side rear spring mount. The battery apron and frame rail underneath need to be patched, but do not need to be replaced. The floor supports, lower seat reinforcements, and upper seat reinforcements are OK. The rear shackle rails are OK. The shock towers are OK. The exterior sheet metal is in fair to good condition. The right quarter panel was replaced. You can get away with patching the left lower quarter panel. The trunk lid and louvered hood are in fair condition but repairable. The glass is original and OK. The chrome is OK. Both doors are good with some rust at the bottom front. Both fenders are good. The car needs to be repainted, but the body is fairly solid. The interior needs the seats recovered, rugs and a convertible top. The fiberglass interior quarter trim panels are poor. The dash pad, dash bezel, and trim are OK. The steering wheel and trim are OK. The door panels are OK. The power top mechanism work well including hydraulics. The engine runs well. The car has a new battery. The carb. was rebuilt, recent tune-up. It has a single exhaust which is OK. Transmission shifts fine. Suspension and steering are OK. The gas tank is marginal. I am using a remote tank to run the engine. The car doesn't appear to have any major leaks. I see no evidence that the car was ever in any major collision. I can assist with delivery, including overseas. The car has been stored inside since 1991. The car is in the Philadelphia area and I would welcome any inspections.
