Up for auction is a 62 t-bird vert, this parts/project has had a ton of work done and is mostly complete but apart, with the exception of the engine /trans/ title....there are none...The previous owner replaced or repaired the trunk, floors. rockers and basically finished the the under side and chassis of this vehical, even addressing at least cosmetics on the differential and gas tank...The interior is all there and the door panels/console look to be in reasonable shape only needing the seats and carpet to be restored, dash has 2 cracks but is not the worst one of these I've seen by far....out side body work, fenders/doors/ hood and trunk all need repair or replacement, but with the tough stuff done on floors /chassis this can be fairly easily accomplished with the plentiful available new/used replacement panels on the market....It comes with a brand new white top, uninstalled...the front bow on the frame needs repair or replacement as does the rear panel, all other vert parts seem to be there....The previous owner was planning to put a 460 motor /trans in it, and sold that original driveline and then apparently got old/sick and sold or his estate sold the car as is, to the person I got it from...missing title...there are several places to obtain title, ask me if you don't know...this car also has new but several years old bias ply tires and I'd bet the brakes and mechanical stuff has been done there as well, I was told the guy worked on it on and off for 20 years and that work looks pretty damn good... although I have'nt had it apart to see first hand...I'm sure there's things I'm missing or I don't know or have'nt described, so ask cause this car is being sold as is, and I'll try to give you an honest accurate answer. bumpers are ok cores but tail light bezels will need replacing....all glass is good and factory tinted, window frames are average, I wish I could've done better with pics but the car is jambed in my garage and parts are spread throughout,not all the parts in the pictures belong to this car and thus are not included and there are some I missed...there is also a new or almost new carpet.. if there's a specific picture you want ask and I will send..... thanks for looking!
