I am giving up my 1998 Hunter Green BMW 740iL so that I could get my wife a mini-van for her birthday. This has been my daily driver and has been dependable and runs smooth. This car comes with the Mark 2 Navigation system with a Southeast disc, Park Distance control, Dual power front seats, Heated front seats, Dynamic stability control, rear power sunshade and a 6 disc trunk mounted factory CD changer. The good: I recently put 2 new rear tires on it, a new coolant reservoir, new rear control arms, new brakes on the front, upgraded 16:9 Navigation screen, iPod input, new oil and air filters, new plugs and sensors. The bad: Needs cosmetic repairs on the passenger door exterior trim molding, needs the driver side rear window regulator replaced (replacement part comes with the car), needs headliner re-stretching as the rear portion is sagging a bit, needs a brake pad wear sensor wire so that you get notice the pads need to be changed and a glovebox latch. The hood is not the original, as my wife backed into it several days ago. It did NO mechanical damage, but I replaced it with a used black hood with 2 very small dings on the front edge. We got a quote to paint both sides of the hood for $250. I've put angel eye head lights and LED tail lights on it but still have the original ones if that suits you better. As I said before, I have a window regulator and all of the original corner turn lights and the phone cradle that was in the center console. Overall the car is a great value as I have a low reserve. The low book on these is equal to my buy it now price, but the reserve is well below that. The bank still has the title, but we can pay it off locally and help the new buyer with title transfer.
