1954 Buick Roadmaster Riviera 2-Door Hardtop in beautiful two-tone Arctic White with a Ranier Blue roof and matching Ranier Blue brocade interior. Incredible condition car from California with only 39,037 miles and First Place winner of the 53rd Annual Lake Forest Show hosted by the Antique Automobile Club of America. Absolutely beautiful condition. These Roadmaster Rivieras were the top-of-the-line Buicks in the 1950s and were the equal of Cadillac's Coupe deVille but with Buick's waterfall grille and additional chrome. The original 322 Fireball V8 engine is 100% factory stock, is show detailed, and has the factory starter switch built into the gas pedal (pushing the pedal activates the starter). Fires right up and settles into a quiet idle. No mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises; and runs perfectly on pump gas. The Super Turbine automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the factory 3.41 rearend allows relaxed cruising. Very nice driving car that easily runs with modern traffic and cruises comfortably at 70 mph. Power steering and huge drum brakes for easy safe driving. Spectacular interior in the original blue brocade cloth. No wear on the seats, no wear on the carpets, no wear on the controls. The original seat foams are still supportive & firm and have not been compressed. Perfect dash and all instruments (Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, Amps, Fuel Level, & Speedometer) work properly. Four-way power front seat operates quickly up & down and fore & aft. Power windows; all work smoothly. Factory AM radio still in place (poor reception) with the factory power antenna. Excellent headliner. Very nice interior. Excellent body with no dents, no dings, no waves. I cannot find any body filler, replacement panels, or body work anywhere. Perfectly straight with no waves and factory perfect panel fit. Excellent two-tone paint in lovely Arctic White with a Ranier Blue roof; no nicks, no chips, and a sharp color combination. Incredible chrome with no pitting and no discoloration. All chrome & stainless steel brightwork is perfect and Buick's trademark teardrop headlight bezels and waterfall grille are like mirrors. Door flippers; work properly on both sides. Four chrome ventiports on each side and the chrome gunsight hood ornament. Dual chrome side mirrors. Excellent glass. Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk seal. The trunk contains the original jack assembly, original spare tire (never down) and the original cloth trunk mat. Perfect chrome hubcaps and original steel wheels fitted with correct whitewall U.S. Royal 15" tires. These are original 1950's tires; not reproductions, and they too are excellent. Runs & drives perfectly and ready for shows, Best-of-Show trophies, and pleasant summer cruising. Easily one of the nicest Buick Roadmaster Rivieras in existence.
