First let's start off saying that this vette had been in storage since 1993. The last owner purchased car with 50,000 miles, he had put 3800 miles on car before he parked it as an investment. Needless to say the car had some issues when parked, speedo stopped working(bad cable) and the brakes were no good. When you park something for that long of a period, other things start to leak etc.We will begin with a list of what has been done so far. New brake system - $750. New Power steering system - $478. New Seat covers - $579. New Water pump - $75. New tranny mount & rear seal- $ 110. New plugs, carb work, valve cover gaskets etc. - $175. New front tires - $280. New a/c compressor - $375. When i registered the vette they had to re-enter it into the system because of 17 years of non registration. Needless to say they listed the vette as a box c because of the non-op speedo. Because they could'nt verify the mileage when previous owner parked it. The undercarriage of this vette is extremely clean thus backing up the low mileage. Never been wrecked and all lights and gauges work. Car comes with both sets of tops This vette has been garage kept for the last 20 years. No rust at all. Any bidder that has no positive feedback will not be considered before they talk to me and verify that they are serious and have the funds. At least i can take my wife on a couple of nice trips.
