Seat capacity: 3 wheelchair or 9 ambulatory General Condition: This is a municipal vehicle used for County Transportation and subject to all the conditions that result of its hard use. The vehicles battery and alternator were both tested and turned out to be okay. May need significant work to make this a reliable vehicle. Known Mechanical Condition: Tires are at minimum spec and will need to be replaced soon Drivers side head gasket seeping oil, power steering gear box is seeping Air conditioning does not work as it leaks oil near compressor (will hold charge for a few days) Parking brake does not work No spare tire Front heater fan needed to be tapped in order to work Starter makes noise Steering wheel is slightly off center. Vehicle does have all three sets of wheelchair securement devices Known Body Conditions: Paint blemishes, dings and rust (minor sheet metal damage in front of the right rear tire that was fixed with a riveted piece of sheet metal) Interior moderatly used condition Right rear view mirror is cracked Missing antenna mast (AM/FM) This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is and with all faults and defects therein. Once a vehicle has reached the end of it's service life, Allegan County does not spend money or time to specifically diagnose problems with the vehicle; nor will the County be held accountable due to a misdiagnoses by an unsatisfied bidder. It is strongly recommended that prospective bidders, at their own expense, make arrangements to inspect this vehicle to determine the condition of the vehicle prior to purchase; however due to liability test driving will not be permitted. It is also recommended that the vehicle be towed or trailered upon pickup until inspection and necessary repairs are made by the Purchaser.
