Vehicle Detail
~Beautiful original numbers matching 1963 Ford Falcon Futura~ This rare 1963 Ford Falcon Futura 2 door post has been 99% restored and resto-modded. It is an excellent runner/driver and could easily be used as a daily driver. The original 260 cubic inch V8 has been rebuilt and overhauled with less than 1,000 miles on it. The crankshaft has been ground to 10-10. Has a new camshaft, not a regrind. The 3-speed on the tree transmission shifts smooth and strong. The motor transmission and rear end are numbers matching and original to this car. Has a new clutch, and new throw-out bearing. Has a new water pump, fuel pump, gas tank, sending unit, battery, exhaust, brakes, shocks, struts and bushings, as well as a new 150-watt one wire alternator and chrome brackets. The interior has been refinished with new seat upholstery, headliner, carpet, floor mats, seat belts and weather stripping. The windshield rubber, back glass rubber, window channels are all new. The glass is perfect all the way around with no cracks or chips. The wheels are brand new Moonies, and the tires have almost full tread. The Falcon has a custom billet aluminum steering wheel, billet door knobs, billet accessory knobs, billet window cranks front and rear, billet turn signal lever, billet cigarette lighter. The 3-speed column shifter has a custom Hurst billet shift knob. The car is perfectly street legal. The lights and blinkers all function properly. The car has been freshly painted in PPG 2006 Viper yellow. Very nice paint job with only a couple minor imperfections/sags. The car has a new old stock front bumper with perfect chrome. The car has no rust at all, nice Eastern Washington vehicle. The doors, grill, and headlights are from a 1962 Falcon, but blend perfectly as seen in the pics. The windshield wipers need a new switch, the defroster needs hoses hooked up. The choke cable is not hooked up or needed. The emergency brake needs repaired. The generator light stays lit up because of the one-wire alternator conversion, this is normal and could be bypassed if so desired. The horn button is not wired up. Many more new parts not listed, I have stacks of receipts that come with the vehicle. Clean, clear title in my name. I tried to list every area that could be a concern, everything else works great! Tabbed and ready to roll! This is an eye catcher and awesome cruiser that drives great! Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like additional pics.
