hello my name is rick you are bidding on a 1971 javelin sst 304 with a borg warner t35 /m44 tranny ,this is the rarest if the javelins 71 to 74 .i have owned this car for the past 18 yrs taking very good care of it . the engine is fresh and and the transmission was rebuilt about two yrs ago ,i have only driven it about 400 miles since all this has been done .i have been slowly restoring it for the past 18 yrs .it does start up and drive.I took it out last month for about 30 miles or so .unfortuately time is not on my side anymore and i have other obligations that come first. so, i have decided that some one else should take care of this beautiful and rare car . this is a great oppertunity for a father son / daughter project all it needs is outer body work /paint , the eng as i said and trany are done the eng compartmnt has been done. so all it need is the outer body painted or just drive it like it is original .there is absolutely no rust or holes on this car at all .the undercarrage is as blue as the body . all the brakes frt and rear are nos new ,the suspenstion is (nos) new drums /calipers rotors all new .all the parts have been sandblasted and been painted with por15 control arms , links etc i have over 15000.00 invested in this car .i have almost all the reciepts since i started i purchased all the (nos) parts on e bay ,over the past 12 yrs and i have brandy new tail lights that will go with it .i paid 1000.00 just for those this car will pass any state inspection ,basically like a new car all high wear items have been replaced (nos) new . i also have a huge selection of spare used parts that i have collected over the past 18 yrs that will go with the car also .the truth is i really hate to see it go ,but its time . good luck and happy bidding
