1981 AMC Spirit in very high state of preservation. Florida car with no rust, no problems, low miles, just faded original paint. Car is equipped with original GM 4 cylinder "Iron Duke" engine, automatic transmission, power assisted front disc brakes, fold down rear seat, and even has working Air Conditioning and intermittent wipers! Everything on the car works properly, and it can be driven anywhere. After years in a time capsule, legendary Chicago area classic car mechanic Larry Claypool installed new hoses, new radiator, new heater core, new gas tank sending unit, new A/C recharge, new tune-up, new brakes, and new tires. He even added an in-dash tachometer. This car runs and drives perfect, getting 25-30 mpg on many lengthy trips. I bought the car to use as a 20,000 mile per year daily driver, but can't bring myself to keep loading miles on the car.
