1995 Chevrolet Impala SS Let me first say that I spent months searching for the "Right" Impala SS, I flew all over the country looking at what were supposed to be "Nice" cars. After many disappointments I came across this one in AZ. I talked to the owner who was out of state at the time and he gave me all the details. He ordered the car from Don Rypma Chevrolet after reading a newspaper article about it (He kept the newspaper and gave it to me with the car), He was living in Michigan and the car was delivered to him in December, he said he did drive it that winter but then only drove it during the summers after that until bringing it to AZ. I've been under this car and it's clean! No rust. Garage kept with a cover over it (cover included). He kept this car stock except a replacement K&N drop in filter, this car was only driven by him and his wife, they took it on the "Hot Rod Power Tour" in 1997 & 2001. This SS didn't even have tint on the glass when I bought it! I'm telling you this is a nice driver. Things I know that have been done to the car- Opti-spark replaced under warranty the first year. Transmission replaced under warranty the first year. Oil changed every 3500 miles Usually Mobil1. Rear driver side widow needs bushing replaced ($50) Driver seat had a tear in stitching but was redone before I bought it and I can't tell. Has a few door dings but that’s to be expected for a 15yr old car. Windshield has a chip and a good size crack, I will replace it for the new owner if they want, and I just didn't want to change it because it’s the original. Gas gauge works but not accurate. Side scripts were replaced with chrome ones from a 1961 Impala SS. Things I've done to the car- I had the windows tinted, a must have in southern AZ! New gas shocks. Complete stereo system, now before anyone gets upset, this was professionally done and it was done so that it could be put back to factory. No cutting of the dash, and all the stuff in the trunk can be pulled out and the factory carpet liner is underneath. I spent well over $3000 on this stereo and it sounds amazing! The factory speakers were replaced with all Kicker pro series but in the factory locations, and two 10" subs, two amps 1000w and 600w. It looks factory, except for the trunk, which was done in Suede. There's a white LED light that lights up the trunk when opened. It has AM/FM/XM/CD. I bought this car to be my daily driver as I drive a lot of miles and didn’t want to put the miles on my other cars, I’ve put 6500 miles on this SS since mid February and can tell you it runs and drives like a dream! I just can’t justify having this many vehicles. I would drive this car across the country without any hesitation. The guy I bought the car from kept everything; I have all the receipts from work done.
