Vehicle Detail

This is simply the best I have seen for an original untouched ONE OWNER SCOUT. I bought it at the estate auction and had it detailed. It runs better than any international I have ever owned. 23877 shows on the odometer. It does not "tick" like a lot of internationals, no smoke, no funny engine noises. The brakes work well, it drives straight, shifts as it should, and is very easy to drive. It needsa few minor things. The console lid is cracked, the valve cover gaskets will need to be replaced, the rear hatch has a crack, the shocks that hold it up are no longer holding it up, the vinyl on the outside drivers seat is tore, the stickers on the side are peeling. The detail shop may put it in gear without pulling up the knob on the shifter and it does not move as easy at is should, which is something I should have fixed...cant be difficult..(the transmission shifts and goes into gear as it should.) The stickers are 365.00 on scoutparts.com, the rear shocks are 45.00, the console lid is around $100.00. I will will include a good rear hatch (and put it on) (white in color) if the buy it now is used. Low cost delivery possible.... THIS SCOUT IS NOT RUSTY AT ALL, NOT BEAT UP, NOT ABUSED. The scout was around 12,000 new, as I have the org. window sticker and line setting ticket. It seemed to have every possible option...chrome wheels, roof rack, tilt, cruise, air, bucket seats, 345 4 barrell. All the dash lights and exterior lights work... one marker light on the front right is out. Original Carpet -no holes tears etc., super door panels, seats, and dash...no cracks. The carb looks new, and it was clearly well taken care of. It was not sitting out in a field and all muddy when i got it. When it is parked, it does not leave a big oil spot or fluids all over...like most internationals do.....Please feel free to have it inspected by someone local. If you want a nice scout traveler....it will be hard to find one in better orignal condition, very hard. If you want specific pictures I will post or email them. The video does not do justice to how quite and smooth it runs.... Call with questions...leave a message if i do not anwer...which is likely.... 208 921 5561 video below...on youtube....
