Got a unique vehicle for sale today: My 1989 Toyota Pickup 4X4 with a Mercedes 5 Cylinder Turbo Diesel Engine!! 26 MPG Highway!!! Got 16-18MPG towing 5K Recently!! **The Entire Gauge cluster was changed out just so you know, the Mileage is not accurate, the body has 167,XXX on it approx, however the engine had about 125K on it, the trans and transfer case have about 130K on them.** Its got a R151F 5 Speed manual transmission and a Brand new LuK Gold Clutch!! Has a Marlin Crawler Twin Stick kit on the Transfer Case!! Heavy Duty Vinyl Flooring that was installed one month ago. All the factory gauges work with the exception of the Tach, the tach only needs the crank sensor and it would work however. I installed a Dakota Digital Signal Converter so that it would work only to find out the sensor is bad. The conversion was done professionally by me, I am a mechanic and custom fabricator. I Drilled new holes in the factory toyota flywheel on a mill, and turned a pilot bearing adaptor on a lathe. There for from the flywheel back is all toyota parts which can easilly be replaced. The engine is a OM617 out of a 1980 Mercedes 300SD, the transmission is out of a 1986 toyota pickup with the turbocharged 22RTE. The truck also has custom front and rear bumpers as well as rock rails on both sides made from 2" X 3" X 1/4" Rectangular Tubing. HAS A CUSTOM ROLL BAR IN THE BED MADE FROM 2" X 4" X 1/4" Square Tubing!! Has a Cat III Hitch on the back and is wired for a trailer. Has Sky Jacker Add-A-Leafs in the rear spring packs as well as Brand New U-Bolts The radiator and engine are protected by a custom grill guard. The truck also has custom HID lighting which is only about a month old. It has a custom exhaust that exits out the passenger side fender, this is due to the front drive shaft being on the same side of the engine as the turbo and there fore the exhaust. It has the following brand new parts installed on it: Radiator Upper and lower coolant hoses All 5 Glow Plugs All 5 Injector Nozzles Clutch, Pressure plate, Throw-out Bearing, Pilot Bearing Rear Brake shoes, Both Wheel Cylinders, All Hardware Two (2) Brand New 800CCA Batteries Starter Motor Oil Cooler and Oil Cooler Lines HID Headlights and Glass Lenses Just had the Fuel Filter, Oil and Filter and Air Filter Changed Changed the Diff Fluid, Trans Fluid, and Transfer case Fluid Diff Fluid 100% Lucas, Trans and Transfer Case 50% Lucas 50% 75W90 Gear Oil Shell Rotella 15W40 in the engine with one bottle of Lucas Got a One Month Old Sony CD player with AUX input AND USB Input ($200) If you have any questions feel free to call me 828-216-8478 My name is Travis
