Vehicle Detail
You are looking at my baby. This is the bike my Dad taught me to ride on. He passed away in 2008 and it's very hard for me to sell this bike, but I have to. I've recently moved to a different town and need a bigger engine bike to drive to work everyday. This is why it's being sold. It is an AWESOME bike. I love it and have really enjoyed driving it. The defects have been noted on the images. There is a very small dent on the gas tank and a few scratched on the front by the Honda logo. My Dad added support bars for the saddle bags I had on it. The bars are removable. We added the seat on the back. Aftermarket running lights and reflectors were also added to the back for safety. If you know anything about a Rebel, you know it's invisible from the back at night! The factory lights suck. The tires are decent but not great. You can probably finish the season on them before having to buy others, but it's up to you. I cannot say I'm a good judge of tires. I am female, 33 and of small stature. I get passed on the road more often than not, so you can be assured this bike has not been abused in any way. As far as I know, I am the second owner. The other was also a woman who babied it. As most older bikes are, this is contrary. The carb has been rebuilt but it's still finicky. To start the bike, you have to pull the throttle three times, put the choke on halfway and then start. After driving for a few and warming up the bike, you can take the choke off and it runs fine. It has not been driven in the rain and during the winter, was stored in a warm garage. I do not have the original manual. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me: 419.788.1016. I prefer the phone to email and will get back to you much quicker this way. If you wish to see the bike in person, it's located in Findlay, Ohio near the airport at 1444 Byal Ave. This Motorcycle was just recently listed locally For Sale. Seller reserves the right to end auction early if it is sold to a local buyer. Thanks!
