You are viewing a 1983 Toyota SR5 4WD Pickup Truck with cap. I purchased this truck in 1996, and that year I installed a new factory bed, a cap, and painted it blue. I took this truck off the road in 2001. This truck starts, and as I have driven it a bit over the years around the yard, it has basically been parked for the past 9 years - and I cannot guarantee any parts, hoses, clamps, gaskets, etc...For this reason, I cannot allow this truck to be driven off of my property. The winner of this truck will have to provide a trailer to transport it. I have in my posession the original owners manual and owners guide. This has a 22R 4 cylinder engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. The frame is in good condition, no rot or weak spots. The tires hold air, and do have a lot of tread, however, they are dry and cracked due to non-use. A new clutch was installed in 1999. According to my paperwork rustproofing was performed on this truck in 1985. This is a solid Truck....for the right person, who has knowledge to perform the maintenance on it. This is a 27 year old truck, with a solid body, but since it has been parked for 9 years, I know there must be hoses, gaskets, and other issues that when driven, would indeed fail. Please understand this fact. I am not listing this as a driving vehicle. This truck is being sold with that knowledge, for I do not know what mechanical issues may occur.
