You are looking at a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. This is a very solid Galaxie 500 that is ready to cruise. It has a freshly rebuilt 1968 390 Cubic Inch V-8 engine, with a Cruise-0-Matic automatic transmission. Runs and shifts great! Lots of new parts, including new front suspension parts, new gas tank, sending unit and straps, new dual exhaust, new shocks, new carpet, new snow white headliner, new interior - seats and door panels that are a red two-tone color and very sharp. The interior is awesome! It has an XL steering wheel, which is not original for this car. Interior lights work perfectly. The car sits on new rubber with American Racing wheels giving it a great look. All glass is in great shape and the windows all roll up and down perfectly. The paint is fantastic and the trim is in reasonable shape, not perfect, but definitely nice. This car has manual steering and manual brakes. I'm told this was an original "J Code" car with red exterior and interior, don't know a lot about these particular cars. The odometer currently shows around just over 60,000 but I have no idea what the actual mileage is and the speedometer is currently not working. All she needs is a speedo cable and the gauges need final wiring, and a couple of minor trim pieces (see pictures); heater doesn't work nor does the radio; the wipers and lights do work, turn signals don't flash but do light (perhaps needing a flasher element?). There is an extra gauge panel in the trunk along with the visors and a couple of extra arm rests (with ash trays). Currently has a cracked exhaust manifold. Just ordered a set of Hooker headers #6001 which I will have installed by a local shop. I drove her this morning and she always starts with no problem and drives down the road great. I took lots of pictures of her this morning and have included them all. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions. It is a really fun car to drive and you get a ton of looks when cruising in this Galaxie 500!! It's a great car and very sharp.
