1985 Merkur Low miles 61K I bought from Original owner! I have not registered it so title is still in original owners name. Automatic transmission. Good fuel economy, Turbocharged 4 cyl.Runs and starts GREAT. Sunroof and A/C works . has stereo and full instrumentation that is really good. The Cruise control does not work. German manufacture. This car is classified as a sports car and is now 25 years old so you can register with classic insurance for 150.00 a year. I wish I could keep and enjoy the handling and turbo kick! Will need a windshield and the paint is faded. The car has no dents. All original body the Bumper covers have a few minor cracks though. Has not been in an accident. Comes with a really nice front header panel as the original has a crack. The rear wing has a crack. There are also boxes of spare NOS and new parts in the spacious trunk area. The interior is cloth and has some ware/ rips in the fabric. I was intending to install leather seats. Engine runs well but has minor cracks in exhaust manifold.When the car is reved up will puff some smoke. I understand this is common as the turbo unit oil does burn a little on all of these cars. It passed inspection emissions. I understand these cars are also rallye cars and I was planning to have some fun in this manor as this car handles and stops great!
