Vehicle Detail
Up or sale is a 1991 Chevy Camaro convertible. With a newer top and 20" wheels with low profile speed rated tires(255/35ZR20). This car is a real head turner and I constantly have people comment on how sharp the car is. This car is 100% rust free and has was always stored winters (I guess I can only guarantee that for the last 8 years but was told that previous owner only used it summers and the cars condition supports that claim). This car has a 305 V8 that had a performance chip added. Car runs great. The top was replaced about 3 years ago by a local shop. I don't know a lot about camaros but I love the way this one sounds through the dual exhaust. Not loud just a low deep tone. This also had a $2000 dollar stereo added in about 04 and the tires and rims were added shortly there after (I paid $2000 used). There are few things that I know need attention. 1. The driver seat has three tears in the leather- I will either have this fixed for you or I will take $250 off the selling price to cover the cost of repair. Your choice 2. The power window are slow to go up and down and the motors should be replaced.($30 each on EBAY - not sure how hard they are to replace) 3. Car seems to pull to the left when braking.( haven't really looked into this- brakes look good- wondering if the one of the calipers has some air in the line???) 4) After the new top was added, I never got one of the three pull cables to release to back pin of the top. This is still really easy to use, now you have to release it from behind the seat instead of to the side of the seat where the pull cable was. Like I said this is so easy to do, and I usually only put the top up for storage, so I have not looked into fixing it. I love this car but I have decided I really want to get a Jeep and I only have room in the garage for one. I would be willing to do a full or partial trade for a Nice rust free older Jeep CJ (I already have a rusty one). I am also going to post a video of the camaro running on you tube so you can hear it running and have a better visual inspection. I am sure I am forgetting a lot of stuff so feel free to ask question. I would be happy to show you the vehicle locally in Rochester, MN. Just email for an appointment. I am also willing to take it to any local mechanic of your choice and have it inspected if you pay for it. I am willing to pick you up at the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport or at the Rochester airport. I am also willing to work something out to drive the car to you for expenses depending on your location (300ish miles). Thanks For looking and call 507-254-7416 or email with any questions. I also had somebody come and look at the car this week end and he pointed out a few thing on th ecar that I wanted to point out. The best way I could think of to cover everything was to add some more videos. I made a video of the engine compartment, frame, general overview of any flaws, and a video showing the cable release I mentioned for the top. If you are serious about the car please take a minute to view the videos.
