Vehicle Detail

Full Ground-Up Pofessional Restoration 1965 Ford Mustang GT Classic We have owned her for 36 Years! This beautiful Mustang was a gift to my wife by her Dad (Retired Ford Executive...then became a Ford Lincoln/Mercury Dealer) as her first car in the 11th grade! We have treasured this car for 36 years. We met when she was a Senior in High School and actually dated in this little gal! I had her restored by C & C Restorations in Mount Olive, North Carolina about 6 years ago. C & C was recommended to me by several Mustang Clubs and owners as the best on the East Coast. She looks exactly as she did when C & C trailered her to the parking lot of the church I pastored in Wilmington, North Carolina! She holds so many wonderful memories for us. However, we have come to a decision to offer her for sale. We only drive her about 12 times a year and she remains covered and garaged. She has never once seen rain after her restoration! I restored her as a gift to my wife. We know nothing about showing cars at all. If you notice the pics of the trunk you will see two 1st Place trophies! We won a Mustang Club Car Show in Wilmington, NC in 2004. I decided to show her for the 2nd time this past weekend. We took 1st Place in the D & D Rockin' Rods Car Show at Big Racks BBQ here in Grapevine, Texas! Only shown her twice...took 1st Place in both shows! Perhaps that will additionally attest to her beauty! She was originally black with a white roof and black interior. We decided to do a color change to the 1965 Mustang factory color of Silver Blue with Blue/White Pony interior and GT clone her. She was stripped completely and her glass is original. She's never been in an accident. She has the original 289-V8 and original transmission that were both completely rebuilt at restoration. She also has the original Ford Factory Air Conditioner, Power Steering, and Power Brakes. The AM Radio is the original radio that came with the car and plays perfectly...she was overhauled as well and she even has a brand new OEM speaker! Ready for a close description? Here we go... New White Vinyl Roof - New Hoses - New Styled Steel Mustang Wheels (restored one of the originals which is pictured on the spare in the trunk) - New Radials all around - New Door Sill Plates - Fully Restored Original AM Radio - New Dash Pad - New Pony Door Panels - New Blue/White Pony Interior - New Blue Carpet - Original Instrument Bezels - New Wood Grain Steering Wheel - New Seat Belts - New Weather Stripping - New Door, Hood, and Trunk Latches - New GT Fog Lights - New Dual Exhaust with Chrome Trumpets - Chrome is New - New Battery - New Shocks - New Gas Tank - New Brakes/Shoes - New Brake Lines/Fuel Lines - New Radiator and Hoses - New Voltage Regulator - New Start Solenoid - New Heater Core and Plenum - Rebuilt AC Condensor - Perfect Floor Pans and Frame Rails. In essence, we have pampered this little gal for 36 years now. Everywhere she goes people wave or comment. She is a show stopper! If you are looking for the prettiest 1965 Mustang you will ever see, you have found her! Please do not try to "steal" her from us! We know what she is worth and if you are knowledgeable about cars of this calibre, you do as well. I have 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK because I take good pictures and am describing honestly and openly! Bidders with a "0" or negative feedback must contact me before placing a bid. Please look closely at the photos before you bid. If you have questions feel free to email me at revbobaker@yahoo.com. I have the right to end the auction at any time. Winning bidder must pay at $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end in the form of Cash, Cashier's Check, Bank Check, or PayPal. Full balance is due with 7 days of auction close in one of the same forms of payment. Car is sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied. I will assist in shipping any way possible, however, all costs will be the responsibility of the Buyer. Thanks very much! Check my Ebay Feedback... 100% POSITIVE! On May-25-10 at 21:52:05 PDT, seller added the following information: ***Please note that we have put less than 300 miles on this Mustang since restoration and engine/transmission rebuild! Prior to restoration there was around 92,000 miles on the odometer.
