This is a 69 Triumph Trophy 500cc motorcycle and it had high pipes,single carb and scrambler tires with just a speedo. and a real jewel in its day. This is a real collectors item and are fairly rare.I had one a few years ago and loved it,wish I could have done this one but the economy is holding me back. Could sell for parts for much more money but would be a shame because most of the parts are here and what you spend on the missing parts youll save big time on the new pistons,rings,rebore and valve job with 4 new black diamond valves. This is a project with matching numbers frame and engine casses. The motorcycle is all apart and the frame looks good with all the tabs in tact and has the rear frame but no swing arm(can purchase on ebay elsewhere).The engine is all apart except for the head and needs the usual rebuild items like the gaskets,seals,bearings and a few misc items that also can be purchased elsewhere.The front forks are complete but will need new seals and fork tubes and the seal holders are rusty so I would change those too. Also things like the headlight,bars,cables,speedo,twist grip,taillight,seat,muffler and wiring all should be replaced anyways and arent here.Good thing because this will make the shipping alot cheaper.The gas tank is stripped of all the paint and looks great inside and out You will have fun with this restoration,you could do this all original or custom.The wheels are the original and needs either rechroming or some alloy rims and ss spokes.There is a big bucket of small parts that come with this and I will include a parts book and manual to help you along.. Please understand that this is a project and will require almost everything(except for the top end) and you would need to spend arount $3000+ for parts and services to complete. No tittle,need to get your own. The items would be shipped seperately , the frame would be wrapped in cardboard and shrinkwrapped, the wheels in another package and the engine in 2 boxes and the tank in another and then 1 more box with the rest. going to charge the actual cost plus $50 for handling. I would estimate $200 for UPS delivery to your doorstep The last motorcycle I had shipped,cost $600 for the frieght charges so this would be alot cheaper. .Ask any questions that may help you in your decision.
