You are bidding on my 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Fixed Roof Coupe. It is Torch Red with a black leather interior. I have only owned the vehicle eight months but am forced to sell due to health reasons. I purchased the vehicle from a private owner in southern California Sept 23, 2009 and drove it home (1400 miles) to Oklahoma City. I obtained a Carfax report to ensure there had never been any kind of insurance claim or accident or repair work. The car was originally delivered to an Indianapolis dealer but when it was 3 months old with 1900 miles it was sold to a buyer in California and has spent its whole life there. The car comes with a Wolf car cover and has spent its life inside and under the cover. The vehicle is stock but does have an aftermarket set of rocker sill plates and was lowered one inch. The Z06 wheels were upgraded to chrome instead of the original silver painted ones. They are perfect with no roadrash or scratches of any kind. The fellow I bought her from said he installed a set of factory Goodyear F1 Supercar tires at 20,000 miles. I added a new 85 month battery and a set of wiper blades the day I bought her. The window sticker(see photo) lists her standard and optional equipment. Everything works as new on the car. It is mechanically sound and rides and drives like new. I would feel safe driving her anywhere in the USA or Canada. She has always had Mobile One oil. On my trip home from California (1400 miles) she got 31 miles to the gallon driving 70-75 miles per hour depending on what state I was in. This is no doubt due to the six speed transmission with fifth and sixth gears being overdrive. Very impressive for a powerful sports car. The vehicle comes with the car cover, owners manual, two keys and two remote fobs, as well as, a copy of the window sticker, a build sheet and the showroom brochure for all Corvettes. You will get 12 pages of facts and figures that will explain all the differences between the Z06 and the standard Targa and Convertibles. In an effort to be complete with my description I want to disclose that there are two very small scratches in the front bumper cover at the front license filler (see photos). They are not that noticable but I want you to know about them. Also there is a small scratch in the rear glass (see photos). The rest of the paint , and interior are excellent, including the seat, carpets and the front and rear compartment Z06 mats..
