Vehicle Detail
This is a 2002 BMW M3 Convertible Carbon Black Metallic with black leather. This M3 has 98,022 miles and is in great shape in and out. The car runs amazing and I just replaced the clutch at a BMW dealership at 87,000 miles. You can see from the pictures how great the car looks and how well it was maintained. Oil and all maintenance were done on time and at certified BMW dealerships. The car has never been in an accident and the Carfax is perfect. The top was adjusted and checked at 86,000 miles at BMW and is working perfectly. Every feature and button works perfectly and nothing is malfunctioning. Last June (2009), the Vanos system had a total breakdown and caused my engine to lose all compression and I had BMW put in a new engine. I have all the paperwork showing the work done at my local BMW dealership and everything was done perfect to BMW spec. They did not just fix the engine, they put a whole NEW engine in the car! The engine runs super smooth and acts like brand new since it has about 11,000 miles on it now. BMW had also given me a 2 year warranty on the engine and it will expire in June 2011. The car has 3 minor imperfections and in need of 1 repair. There is a very minor ding on the rear passenger side panel, the rear bumper has a little ding that is just cosmetic, and the passenger side interior door trim has cracked paint, which is typical of all E46s. All of these imperfections can be seen clearly in the pictures provided. I have all the keys and books that came with the car. The Service Engine Soon light has come on because it needs 2 new O2 sensors on 1 bank. This needs to be repaired for the light to go off. I have not gotten it done yet because its not extremely pressing and it just came on. On May-23-10 at 20:44:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I just looked again at the Autocheck reporting of this car listed. I do not know why it shows up as accident. The rear bumper, as I have mentioned, has that ding but it was in not a huge deal and I did not think it would even count as an accident. I was not trying to mislead anyone by saying the car had a perfect Carfax, I honestly did not think it had changed because of those minor incidences that are not even accidents. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
