Hi, I am selling a 1978 BMW R100. It runs. It has two new tires, new battery. Miles unknown. I got the bike a couple of years ago. It had sat for a couple of years. I put new points and plugs in it and got it running. It has a fairly new clutch cable, new regulator, seat is in perfect condition. Faults: odometer doesn't work, I don't know how many miles it has on it; rear shocks have been cut down to accommadate short rider; past electrical issues; a hinge pin is missing on the far end under the seat; covers have been attached by screws and plates. Bike runs decently, have had it over one hundred MPH with plenty to go. Lights, signal lights, stop light, and horn are functional, bike has various dings; mufflers have rust on them. Bike has been daily rider for past two years. I don't have much time to ride these days, also getting married. Has windscreen as shown. Engine and transmission in good condition.
