1926 Model T Coupe, excellent rust free straight body. This car was the showroom display many years ago at a St. Louis area Ford dealer. I bought this with the intention of removing the body and building it on a finished Model A hot rod chassis that is waiting in my garage. The gentleman I bought the car from was going to build a Hot Rod from this car but went in another direction. The only body repair I suspect is to the rear panel. The car has lots of thick, ugly, peeling enamel restorer type paint from various freshening over the years. The only repair to the fenders visible is to the passenger front which appears to have had a small crack repaired. The door glass is excellent along with the windshield and frame, the quarter windows are starting to fog at the edges. The car was purchased and driven 20 miles home last year but I have not tried to get it running again,so assume it does not run and if it does you will even feel better. The interior is plain black vinyl (not correct) and is in ok condition. The seats are originals that have been recovered. This is not a restoration and is just an old car that appears to never have been off the frame, just repainted and reupholstered to keep it presentable. Someone sanded some spots and primed them black so they are not so obvious. The body is excellent, the paint is terrible! I am offering this car to clear my conscience before taking it apart,so if you are a restorer speak or forever hold your peace! Willing to sell everything but the body, rear fenders and title for 3000.00 if you want to build a wood bodied car or speedster.
