Pumpkin Cars is offering this 1998 VW Jetta GLS for sale. This vehicle was traded last week. It was driven to our dealership. We test drove the car and the engine, gearbox and clutch seem to be functionning fine. One (or both) front CV axle(s) is (are) clicking badly when you turn the steering wheel to the right or to the left in slow speed tight turns. It (they) need to be replaced immediately. The front bumper is cracked. The hood paint is pealing off. The A/C does NOT blow cold (heater works good). One rear window is not functioning. One trim is missing in the front bumper. 3 pieces of door rubber molding are missing. Glove box handle is broken. Front tires are low. That's for the negatives. The positives are : engine starts and runs good. There is no warning lights on the dash at this time. No check engine light. No airbag light. Gearbox is good, clutch seems good as well. The title history is perfect (AutoCheck 100% geen). The title is clear and clean. The car was driven every day until it got traded. The car has a valid inspection sticker in the state of New Jersey. We have 2 sets of keys + owners manual. It is going to be very cheap. AGAIN IT IS RUNNING BUT IT NEEDS THE CV AXLE(S) TO BE DONE FOR RELIABILITY AND THEN COSMETIC WORK.
