This is a babied bike. Never been to a track day, dropped, or pushed. It is in extremely good condition to be an 05. Really the only reason it is being sold is because I moved from the country to the city and don't feel safe riding in these conditions. The 750 is an extremely fun bike and the 2005 is the 20th anniversary special edition. This edition adds a few extra perks to the bike, most notably the tri-tone blue and white paint scheme and factory black exhaust. As far as modifications go, this is a perfect buyers bike. The necessary mods are taken care of such as a hot bodies under tail (although the stock under tail is included) and an after market dark smoke windscreen but personal touches such as aftermarket exhaust have been left up to you! The bike has been altered of the ugly stock parts but has not been overly personalized allowing a buyer to leave with a tastefully finished bike that still has room for the more personal, exotic upgrades if a buyer so chooses. While this is a two owner bike the previous owner is a good friend of mine with a similiar background. Meaning we were both in our mid to late twenties as owners, with neither being stunt/race oriented. Maintenance and winterization have been taken seriously and the bike just recieved an oil change and new gas. 2 keys, and original under tail will be included, as well as a stand that allows for more safe storage than the kick stand. This is probably the only reason we managed to keep the bike so pristine over the years and is a nice est $200 bonus! The tires are fine with the rear being a Michelin Pilot Power with about 50 miles on it, and the front being a half worn dunlop. I was in the process of switching to Pilot Power tires but the bike shop convinced me that for street riding, trashing the nearly new dunlop front was crazy. They were right, the two tires work fine together, riding with a pilot power feel as a pair. However, if the track is a priority, the dunlop could be replaced leaving a new owner with a brand new set of tires for the cost of 1! This really is a great bike, not the kind of bike that is found for sale. Meaning, I don't want to let her go! If I wasn't getting out of bikes all together I wouldn't sell it at all. The 750 itself offers the ability to seek and destroy the 600's around as well as the ability to ride at low rpm's with some power (extremely nice for riding the girlfriend/wife without the noise and vibration, unless of course thats what you want) and this is one of the better 750's. The only notable damage is to the back of a mirror, which is scuffed but not noticable or worth replacing. It is so un-noticable I almost forgot to mention it. I haven't seen or thought about it since I got the bike! It will only be seen in an extremely thoro examination such as a potential buyer would give, but not noticed in most any other situation. Even blue book on this bike is a steal! It still looks better than nearly all of the bikes I see, and still has more to offer than a brand new 600. With a brand new back tire, aftermarket under tail and screen, almost all of the little things one would need to do to a new bike are done, leaving any extra cash to go towards the fun mods, or to be saved all together. I honestly believe that 10 out of 10 buyers would be happier with this bike than a brand new 600, and in this auction format will likely pay a fraction of the price!
