Vehicle Detail

1997 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Yellow with Black Racing Stripes NO RESERVE AUCTION Vin Number: 2G2FV22P7V2225799 Mileage: 112,724 Title: Salvage Engine: LT1 When I read cars for sale, the last thing I want to hear is a sob story about how the owner hates to see her "baby" go... but it is true. I have gone to list this several times before, and ended up not putting it up for auction, however with hard times that have hit, I am backed into a corner in selling her. She is a 1997 Pontiac Trans-AM. The reason I purchased her in the beginning was because TransAms do not lose their value like many other vehicles. It was an investment like buying gold. I need to pay off student loans. The collectors are really on my case. I hope to buy one again someday, but for now, here are the details: Yelow in color, with 2 FAT black racing stripes. The racing stripes are NOT the girly little lines that make the car look weak and girly, they are the very wide, manly solid black stripes that really give this car attitude. In addition to the fat black racing stripes, there is more that makes this beast stand out. The hood is an after-market cowl-style induction hood that makes it look like the nose is flaring for attention. I have recieved TONS of compliments on this car, especially at the drive-in theaters when Transformers was out! This car is probably not for the guy that wants everything factory original. The hood is after-market... the stereo is a nice nice nice Pioneer with auxillary input for your iPod and other devices... it has a couple Speakers, however I took a corner really hard and the speakers in the back toppled over. I imagine the wires need to be hooked back up again, but YES the Deck works, and YES the speakers work. The wire might need to be re-ran. I am here to tell you everything the car is, but also what it isn't. It is not a brand new vehicle by any means. It has an AWESOME paint job, however would not win awards at a car show. The person that painted it has over spray in areas. I am just shooting the truth, because the last thing you want to do is bid on something you don't know essential information! The exahust sounds VERY mean, when I stuck my head underneath it looks like the previous owner cut a segment out of the exhaust to make it louder, so if you wanted to keep it the way it is, it is very cool sounding, but if you wanted to re connect the other exhaust it would be easy to do, or even do your own! I bet flowmasters would sound cool! Engine is LT1. Interior is nice! It needs a little vaccuum job and some armor all, but someone that falls in love with this girl will understand that. I took a picture of the drivers side panel, someone tried gluing the plastic on better to the door. I would imagine you need to re-glue it, or buy some appropriate clips to attach it better. Someone tried keying it on the passenger side, but no one notices it until I point it out. Not sure if you can buff that out, it doesn't look bad. And on the very back towards the lower bumper, which I have pictured, I backed up into a stake to support a tree. It was rebarb stake, and it took off some paint. It is very low, and hardly noticeable. Let's talk mechanical. I have serviced this puppy regularly. I am BIG on mechanical functions being correct. I would rather buy a car with a little body work than mechanical work. It sounds awesome. Brand New battery. Engine currently running the best motor oil out there. Runs GREAT! Very fast. You could get into some big trouble with this car. SHIFT KIT!!! The shift kit feels AMAZING when it shifts gear to gear. I am not going to lie, I have accelerated this car several times from a dead stop against other TransAms. It was DEAD even with a 2002 WS6! Tires are worn pretty good. Probably needs an alignment, but I would get new tires first. It is very easy to burn the tires. This truly is the "poor-mans corvette" they are so fast and can get you in big trouble... and very affordable. I have about $15,500 of student loans i need to pay off, so this is something I have to depart with. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION! Whoever wins this auctions, WINS the car! So bet BIG so I can pay off as much of my student loans as possible! I would even take donations! Haha. Whoever wins this auction needs to figure a way to pick up the car. I can't ship it, and I won't. The title is salvage, but ready to rock and roll to its new owner. Please be careful with this car. It is an eye catcher, and if this is a male purchasing this vehicle, be prepared for other women to look at it. It happens. I was lookin at the pictures I took again... they look pretty bad... the car needs cleaned. Example: The back bumper shot, those are leafs! That is not damage... the only damage is where I hit the small rebarb pole. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask them now. This is being sold AS-IS. There is NO warranty with cars of this age, this one.
